How to Get to the Visitor Center

Directions
From the South:
Take I-87, to exit 13N (Route 9 North) about 3 miles to Visitor Center, opposite Historic Congress Park.
From the North:
Take I-87, to exit 15, bear right on Routes 9 & 50 southwest, follow signs into downtown & on to Visitor Center, opposite Historic Congress Park.
From the West: Take I-90 (New York Thruway) east to Exit 28, north on Route 30A to Johnstown; east on Route 29 to Saratoga: turn right on Broadway (Route 9) & on to Visitor Center, opposite Historic Congress Park.
From the East:
Take Route 29 west into downtown & a left on Broadway (Route 9) & on to Visitor Center, opposite Historic Congress Park.

Visitor Center Parking
Parking for the Visitor Center is at a premium, especially during the summer and at holiday seasons. In addition to street parking in the downtown area, there are several parking lots available within a few blocks of the Visitor Center. This includes a parking lot across the street, a parking garage across from Congress Park at the corner of Spring St. and Maple Ave., a parking lot by High Rock Park near the City Center and the new lot on Church St., a block behind the post office on Broadway.
